Photographs help our children feel loved, cherished and a valued part of our families. Having photos displayed at home, where they can see them easily, makes a very public statement that we are proud of them and gives them a sense of reassurance and comfort.

I am a portrait photographer specialising in creating images of newborn babies, older babies, expectant mums, children and families. I also offer personal branding sessions and heirloom portraiture – photographing women in a way that celebrates their individual beauty and strength.

My studio is centrally located in Otautahi Christchurch, New Zealand and I also offer on location portrait services.

I’m mum to two energetic boys under five, so I know how difficult it can be to find the time for newborn and family portraits; let alone creating an album or framing images for the wall. That’s why I have built my collections with simplicity in mind, making it easy for you to have beautiful portraits on your wall and gifts for your family.

I know it can be daunting to get in front of the camera, it’s not my favourite thing either, but it’s so important to “exist” in family photographs. Your kids will cherish these images and one day they might just be the most important portraits they own.   I will create images that you love and, most importantly, you and your family will have fun during the session and make new memories together.
